Menzel Scandinavian AB was contacted by a Scandinavian paper manufacturer to provide a solution for a breakdown of an existing ABB motor. A mechanically suitable motor was selected from our stock of new Menzel series motors, rated at 6000V. To suit our customer’s requirement of 750V, our winding technicians reconnected the motor over the weekend. Menzel service technicians recommissioned the motor, resetting the parameters of the soft start to the customer’s satisfaction.
