Menzel Elektromotoren modified a motor from stock to drive an extruder in Zone II in a Columbian rubber factory. First the motor from stock got a 2nd shaft end added for a anti-reverse-ratched. Additionaly the shaft dimensions were modified, the sense of rotation was modified and the complete drive was certified through the Menzel explosion proof expert within 5 days.
