Menzel Elektromotoren were asked by an English steel mill to construct an identical replica as back-up for their existing direct-current motor Mill-type standard. Mill-type motors are known for their resistance to the most challenging ambient conditions in terms of vibrations, heat, vapor, and pollution. After its successful test the motor was put into operation and the order was completed to the customer's full satisfaction.
